To answer questions that you may have about our policies (And to try to save you some time and needless energy), we have created a Frequently Asked Questions list that we hope will deal with some of the more popular queries that we get at the club. As always, if you have any questions about our FAQ's, or if you would like to add a question to the list, please feel free to email us, and with your permission we'll print some of your questions.


1. Do you take credit cards?
We do not take any credit cards. We take cash only.

2. How old do you have to be to go to the Bottom Line?
You have to be at least 21 or accompanied by a parent or guardian.

2a. Can children come to the club?
We think it is great to expose children to live music as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

3.Do you serve food?
Yes, we serve food. Our menu is light including hamburgers, garden burgers, salmon burgers, fries, individual pizza, chicken tenders, buffalo wings, chips & salsa & dessert. Click on the menu section for more details on the food and the pricing.

3a. Can I bring in my own food or drink?
You can not bring in any outside foor or beverages.

4. Is there parking?
There is parking on the street any time on the weekends and after 6 on West 4th and Mercer streets.
There is a parking garage on West 3rd and on Mercer off West 8th Street.

5. Can you take pictures, videos or record?
You can take picures without a flash. You cannot video or audio tape the shows.

6. If the show is sold out can you buy standing room?
Yes, when there is standing room, the tickets go on sale at show time; the price of the ticket is the same as general admission. In addition, if we get any refunds, we will sell the tickets first to the people on the standing room line, who then, in turn, can be seated...

7. What are the hours of the box office?
The Box Office is open every day from 10am-11pm.

8. Do you take reservations?
We only take e-mail reservations for tickets only by e-mailing your name, show, date and # of tickets.

9. Can seats be held?
No.Seating is on a first come first seated basis. The entire party has to enter together to sit together.

10. Is there smoking?
We have a no smoking policy.

11. Train instructions:
PATH to 9th street and 6th Avenue and walk 5-6 blocks to the club

A, B, C, E, F, QÊÊ to West 4th street and 6th Avenue.- walk east on w.4th to the Bottom Line

B, D, F, Q,Ê or 6 to Broadway and Laffayette - lets you off on Broadway and Houston. Walk north to w 4th and one block west to Mercer- to the Bottom Line

6 to Astor Place walk south on Broadway to W4th, then west to the Bottom Line

N & R TO 8THÊ and Broadway. Walk to Broadway and w4th then walk one block West to The Bottom Line.

12. How do you get there from the Holland Tunnel?
When you are in the tunnel, go to the Left lane, last exit (Canal St.) There's a traffic light there. Counting that light, go to the third light (West B'way) and turn left. It will change into LaGuarda Place. Drive till you can't go anymore (Washing Sq.Park). Turn right, and drive 3 blocks to the Bottom Line
